Odobook does not collect, sell or share your vehicle log. The log never leaves your phone unless you export it, back it up or share it yourself. The developer receives only feedback messages that you choose to send from the app.
What the app stores
Your vehicles, fill-ups, service records, reminders and settings are kept in a database on your phone. There is no Odobook account and no Odobook server holding your log.
If your phone's own backup is turned on (iCloud Backup on iPhone, Google's device backup on Android), it may include Odobook's data along with your other apps. That backup is made by Apple or Google under your account, not by us, and we have no access to it.
What the app sends
Nothing, unless you send feedback. Odobook has no analytics, telemetry, crash reporting or advertising, and it never sends your log anywhere.
When you send a message from Settings → Send feedback, the app sends:
- the message you typed and its type (idea, bug or other),
- your email address, only if you enter one, so we can reply,
- the app's name and version, and your phone's operating system and its version.
The form shows these details before you send it. The message travels over an encrypted connection to our feedback service, which runs on Cloudflare and passes it on by email through Resend to our inbox. Cloudflare sees your IP address, as it does for any web request; our service uses it only to limit how many messages one sender can send per minute and does not store it. Cloudflare and Resend process the message only to deliver it, under their own privacy policies (Cloudflare, Resend).
We use feedback only to answer you and to improve the app. It is never sold, shared or added to a mailing list. We keep it in our mailbox for as long as it is useful for support, and we delete it sooner if you ask.
Imports, exports and backups
Files you import from other apps (for example Fuelly or aCar exports) are read on your phone and are never uploaded. CSV exports and backup files are created on your phone. They go only where you send them from the share sheet, such as Files, iCloud Drive, Google Drive or email, and those services handle them under their own terms.
Reminders and notifications
Service reminders are scheduled on your phone as local notifications. They do not go through any server, and the app has no push notification service. You can turn notifications off at any time in your phone's settings.

The app does not ask for your location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone. Files are opened only through the system file picker, which lets the app read just the files you choose.
Your data, your control
You can export your log to CSV, back it up to a file, edit or delete any record or vehicle, and remove everything by deleting the app. Because we hold none of your log, there is nothing on our side to delete or hand over.
For feedback you have sent, you can ask us to show, correct or delete it by writing to the address below. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the GDPR gives you these rights, and you can also complain to your data protection authority. We rely on our legitimate interest in answering messages that you send us.
Children
Odobook is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new effective date. Any change in what the app sends will be described in the app's release notes before it ships.
