Pebble Autofill does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data. Everything you type into it stays in your browser. The developer never receives your profiles, your rules or the contents of any form.
What the extension stores
Profiles (name, email, phone, address and any custom fields you add), fill rules and settings are stored only in your browser, using Chrome's extension storage. If you have Chrome sync turned on, Chrome syncs them between your own browsers under your Google account, the same way it syncs bookmarks. That transfer is done by Google, not by us, and we have no access to it.
The extension also stores a flag saying whether Pro has been purchased, and a random identifier created by ExtensionPay on install (see Purchases below).
What the extension sends
Nothing about you. The extension has no analytics, no telemetry and no crash reporting. Form contents are never sent anywhere. The only network requests it makes are to extensionpay.com, to check whether Pro has been bought.
When the extension reads a page
The extension reads the fields of a page only when you trigger a fill: by clicking Fill this page, using the keyboard shortcut, or choosing a profile from the right-click menu. On sites you explicitly add under Auto-fill on page load, it also fills empty fields when such a page opens. Chrome asks you to allow each site when you add it. The extension has no access to other sites.
It never fills password, one-time code, CAPTCHA, card number or security code fields, even if a profile or rule would match them.
Permissions
| Permission | Why |
|---|---|
storage | Keep your profiles, rules and settings in the browser. |
activeTab scripting | Read and fill the fields of the page you are on, only when you trigger a fill. |
contextMenus | Offer your profiles in the right-click menu. |
site access | Optional, requested per site, only for sites you add to auto-fill on page load. |
extensionpay.com | A small script on ExtensionPay's own pages lets the extension learn that a purchase has completed. |
Purchases
Pro is sold by Anda Tech Solutions SRL, the developer, not by Google. To check whether you purchased Pro, the extension contacts ExtensionPay using an anonymous random identifier created on install. If you buy Pro, checkout happens on ExtensionPay's and Stripe's pages, which collect the email address and payment details needed to process and restore the purchase, under their own privacy policies (ExtensionPay, and Stripe). The extension itself never sees your card details.
Your data, your control
You can export your profiles and rules to a file, edit or delete them at any time from the extension's settings, and remove everything by uninstalling the extension. Because nothing is stored on our side, there is nothing for us to delete or hand over.
Children
The extension is not directed at children under 13 and collects no data from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new effective date. Changes that affect how data is handled will also be noted in the extension's release notes.
